Beate Bockting und meine Person waren auch beteiligt, das Vorhaben einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt. Nicht wie in Wörgl mit Klebemarken, sondern mit Chipkarte sollte es ausgestaltet werden. Die praktische Umsetzung sollte Dr. Hugo Gottschalk von PaySys übernehmen. Dr. Gottschalk kennt die Geldreformidee von Silvio Gesell und hat auch in der Zeitschrift für Sozialökonomie (ZfSö) publiziert. Christian Gelleri als Praktiker hielt einen Vortrag über das Chiemgauer Regiogeld. Die Förderung aus dem LEADER-Programm der EU zur Entwicklung des ländlichen Raumes war so gut wie sicher. – Doch das Vorhaben wurde nicht realisiert, weil der Einzelhandel nicht mitmachen wollte und eine weitere Karte ablehnte.
